Department of Economic Criteria and Internal Market

1. Duties and responsibilities of the Department of Economic Criteria and Internal Market, are:

1.1. Coordinates the Stabilisation and Association process,in the area of Copenhagen Economic criteria and chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 32 and 33;

1.2. Coordinates the Government European integration negotiation structures,in the area of Copenhagen Economic criteria and chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 32 and 33;

1.3. Coordinates preparation, implementation and monitoring of the Government European integration strategic documents,in the area of Copenhagen Economic criteria and negotiating chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 32 and 33;

1.4. Coordinate regular reporting to the European Commission,in the area of Copenhagen Economic criteria and chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 32 and 33;

1.5. Supports the institutional development for the implementation of the acquis communautaire,in the area of Copenhagen Economic criteria and chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 32 and 33;

1.6. Supports the approximation process of respective chapters of the acquis communautaire,in the area of Copenhagen Economic criteria and chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 32 and 33;

1.7. Implements uniformed instructions and methodology set by Department of Coordination of the Stabilisation and Association Process.

2. Head of the Department of Economic Criteria and Internal Market reports to the Secretary-General.

3. This Department has the followingDivisions:

3.1. Division of Economy, Regional Development and Statistics;

3.2. Division of Internal Market and Trade;

3.3. Division of Social Policy, Education and Health.

4. The number of employees within Department of Economic Criteria and Internal Market is nine (9).


Division of Economy, Regional Development and Statistics

1. Duties and responsibilities of the Division of Economy, Regional Development and Statistics, are:

1.1. Coordinates the Stabilisation and Association process, in the area of the negotiating chapters 4, 17, 18, 32, 33 and Copenhagen economic criteria;

1.2. Coordinates the Government European integration negotiation structures, in the area of the negotiating chapters 4, 17, 18, 32, 33 and Copenhagen economic criteria;

1.3. Coordinates preparation, implementation and monitoring of the Government European integration strategic documents, in the area of the negotiating chapters 4, 17, 18, 32, 33 and Copenhagen economic criteria;

1.4. Coordinates regular reporting to the European Commission, in the area of the negotiating chapters 4, 17, 18, 32, 33 and Copenhagen economic criteria;

1.5. Supports the institutional development for the implementation of the acquis communautaire, in the area of the negotiating chapters 4, 17, 18, 32, 33 and Copenhagen economic criteria;

1.6. Supports the approximation process of respective chapters of the acquis communautaire, in the area of the negotiating chapters 4, 17, 18, 32, 33 and Copenhagen economic criteria.

2. Head of the Division of Economy, Regional Development and Statistics reports to the Head of Department.

3. The number of employees within the Division of Economy, Regional Development and Statistics is two (2).

Division of Internal Market and Trade

1. Duties and responsibilities of the Division of Internal Market and Tradeare:

1.1. Coordinates the Stabilisation and Association process, in the area of the negotiating chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 30;

1.2. Coordinates the Government European integration negotiation structures, in the area of the negotiating chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 30;

1.3. Coordinates preparation, implementation and monitoring of the Government European integration strategic documents, in the area of the negotiating chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 30;

1.4. Coordinates regular reporting to the European Commission, in the area of the negotiating chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 30;

1.5. Supports the institutional development for the implementation of the acquis communautaire, in the area of the negotiating chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 30;

1.6. Supports in the approximation process of respective chapters of the acquis communautaire, in the area of the negotiating chapters 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 20, 28, 29 and 30.

2.  Head of the Division of Internal Market and Trade reports to the Head of Department.

Division of Social Policy, Education and Health

1. Duties and responsibilities of the Division of Social Policy, Education and Health are:

1.1. Coordinates the Stabilisation and Association process, in the area of the negotiating chapters 2, 10, 19, 25 and 26;

1.2. Coordinates the Government European integration negotiation structures, in the area of the negotiating chapters 2, 10, 19, 25 and 26;

1.3. Coordinates preparation, implementation and monitoring of the Government European integration strategic documents, in the area of the negotiating chapters 2, 10, 19, 25 and 26;

1.4. Coordinates regular reporting to the European Commission, in the area of the negotiating chapters 2, 10, 19, 25 and 26;

1.5. Supports the institutional development for the implementation of the acquis communautaire, in the area of the negotiating chapters 2, 10, 19, 25 and 26;

1.6. Supports the approximation process of respective chapters of the acquis communautaire, in the area of the negotiating chapters 2, 10, 19, 25 and 26.
